my name is ande and this is my album that i'm finally ready to release on the internet for the enjoyment of losers and loonies nationwide. it's about watching twitch streamers play kaizo mario romhacks. it's about mercilessly kicking ass at super smash bros at the family function because you need to win or you'll cry. it's a record about growing up with half a childhood because you've been sitting in front of the computer for at least 12 years straight. it's about meeting your online friends irl and realizing you hate them. it's about all your peers being cooler than you. it's about finally developing emotional armor. i've been making songs for this album since the beginning of high school, but now i'm at the bitter end and most of the songs you see here were made in a much more recent period. this album, like a lot of things i make, was fueled by spite, doubt, jealousy, and an assortment of negative experiences. at the very least, i hope that i was able to turn all that shit into positivity through the music ya get me. i hope you have some kind of reaction to any of the songs on this record. the last thing i want is for u to be bored stiff cuz i hate that shit.
